II. CIBF’s 34-Year History
CIBF started in 1992 in Tianjin with 56 exhibitors and 1,350㎡. It obtained trademark registration in 1999, moved to Shenzhen in 2010, and became the world’s largest battery exhibition in 2018. In 2023, it switched to an annual format, and 2025 set a new benchmark with 400,000+ visitors.
III. CIBF2025: A Landmark Edition
Held May 15-17, 2025, in Shenzhen, CIBF2025 covered nearly 300,000㎡, with 3,262 exhibitors from 52 countries and 400,000+ visitors (100,000+ international). It featured major manufacturers showcasing new technologies, including solid-state battery prototypes and AI production lines. Over 500 cross-border agreements were signed, with $30 billion in deals and $12 billion in new investments.
